Terms of Service

Ezra provides church operations software: volunteer and guest management, scheduling, people records, communications, reporting, and an AI assistant. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only in the size of church they cover (volunteer, campus, SMS, and AI allowances), as described on the pricing page. We work hard to keep Ezra available and fast, and we publish what is and is not implemented rather than promising ahead of ourselves.

• Your church owns everything it puts into Ezra.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the right to store it (for example, consent for contact details you import).
• You control who on your team can see and change what, using the roles and permissions in Settings.
• You can export your records at any time as a structured bundle (uploaded files are listed with their storage paths and download separately), and the owner can permanently delete the workspace at any time. Both remain available even when a workspace is read-only.

Use Ezra to run your ministry, not to harm people. Do not attempt to access another church's data, probe or overload the service, or use the communication tools to send spam or messages people have not consented to receive. SMS features honor STOP requests automatically and Ezra enforces consent at send time; do not try to work around that.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. When the trial ends without a plan, the workspace becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, everything stays viewable and exportable, and access returns the moment you subscribe. Annual plans are priced at ten months for twelve. You can cancel any time; service continues to the end of the paid period, after which the workspace is read-only. If a payment fails we will tell you; while it stays unpaid the workspace is read-only in the same way, and nothing is deleted.

Ezra's assistant drafts and proposes; humans decide. Any action that changes your church's records requires explicit confirmation from a staff member with the right permission. Review AI-drafted messages before sending them. AI output can be wrong, and you remain responsible for decisions made with it.

Ezra is provided as is, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your church paid in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can leave at any time: export your data, then delete the workspace. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice unless the violation puts other churches' data at risk. If we ever discontinue Ezra, we will give at least 90 days' notice and keep exports available for that entire period.
